She's done it. Reid River Akisha (at her very first show under saddle) has won the Novice Mare under saddle, Intermediate Mare under saddle and then gone on to be awarded Champion Mare Under Saddle at the 2012 Arabian Gala Event. This 3 year old filly never ceases to amaze us and we thank Mark & Paul for doing a wonderful job on her saddle prep.

We have decided to send Akisha to Paul & Mark of Paul Austin Equitation to begin her saddle career. Lets see what this amazing filly can pull out of the bag this time.

Reid River Akisha has just been awarded Reserve Australian Champion!!!! So proud of her. Greg and Rochelle have done a wonderful job of conditioning her. She looks amazing.

Reid River Akisha has gone into training with Greg & Rochelle of KEA Training Stables to prepare for the Australian National Championships in March.

Bluedawn Meteor (aka Tia) and Reid River Akisha (aka Nellie) went to the 2011 Arabian Gala Event. Once again, Akisha won the 2 year old filly class and was again sashed as reserve Champion Intermediate Filly. Akisha has now been shown under judges from nearly every corner of the globe and has consistently been placed as either Champion or Reserve Champion. Well done my beautiful girl.
Chris again showed his, now very pregnant, Arabian Pony. They walked away with a first place in the Arabian Pony Mare 4 yrs & over and a second place in the Dual Registered Derivative Class. Chris was also given the encouragement award by the judge, Cathy Murphy Wright (USA). "Tia" will now take a break from the show ring to have her first foal. We look forward to the birth of this foal which will also be the start of Chris' career as a breeder.

Reid River Akisha (The Akomplize X Istana Kourtney) continued her winning streak at the 2011 Queensland Challenge Show. She won the 2 year old filly class and then went on to be sashed as Reserve Champion Intermediate Filly.

Chris Reid and his Arabian Pony, Bluedawn Meteor, competed at the Queensland Challenge Show. They won 1st palce in the Arabian Pony Mare 4 yrs & over and also in the Classic Trot Class. Chris also showed Kasban Sparkle N Shine (Lea-Ma Park Bey Shine X Kasban Song N Dance) for Michelle Olsen and won Champion Purebred Arabian shown by a Youth. Well done Chris and keep up the good work.

Australian Championship Results - Kasban Sparkle N Shine (Lea-Ma Park Bey Shine x Kasban Song N Dance) wins Australian Champion Show Hunter 15hh & over, Australian Champion Purebred Mare ridden by a Youth, Reserve Australian Champion Purebred Mare Bridle Path Hack, Reserve Australian Champion Show Costume & Top 10 Purebred Mare Under Saddle. Well done Miss Sparkle and congratulations to Michelle Olsen of Kasban Arabians.

At the RTES 85km Endurance Ride in Terengganu, Malaysia, Reid River Sensashine (Lea-ma Park Bey Shine x Simeon Saski) won 1st place and 2nd place went to Reid River Violashine (aka Brumby) (Lea-ma Park Bey Shine x Aqaba Bodicea). Huge congratulations to Sensashine, Brumby and the Langkawi Endurance Team once again!!!

Reid River Akisha (aka Nellie)(The Akomplize x Istana Kourtney) wins the 2&3 yr old filly class. Akisha then went on to win Champion Junior Filly and then went one step further and took out the Summerset Sash at the All Arabian Summer Show (A Class Show).

Reid River Sensashine (Lea-ma Park Bey Shine x Simeon Saski) wins 1st place at the FEI 2* 120km Articquator RTES Endurance Ride in Terengganu, Malaysia. Well done Sensashine and well done Langkawi Endurance Team!!!
